Hello again! It feels like May only lasted for about 3 days, but despite that, I gathered some favourites through the month.

 TV - Hacks

  

I'll be honest, I started watching this show, because I saw an edit on tiktok. I was a bit discouraged when I saw that it was 5 seasons long, but I binged it in a little over a week, I think. It was funny, it made me cry, gen-z jokes actually landed and didn't feel too dated, despite the show starting in 2021, I have a crush on the main character, all you could ask in a TV show. The finale came out yesterday and I watched it and I sobbed. Please watch it if you like annoying bisexuals.

 

Music - Injury Episode - Static Dress

  

Wow! You know? Post-hardcore heaven, excellent album, tracks flow and there's an overarching theme both musically and thematically. I love when I get into a band and they release an album soon after, and a great one at that.

 

Game - slither.io 

 

I've been playing this game an unhealthy amount. It started on a random night, when I was on the phone with my boyfriend and we were looking for something to do. For some reason, I remembered a game I probably hadn't played since computer lessons in primary school. Since then, we've both been playing it a lot, sometimes on our own, sometimes meeting in the lobby and slithering around together. It lets me focus on one thing and turn my brain off, which has been very useful in this depressive episode I'm going through.

 

Event - catsitting

A few weeks ago, my mum asked me if I'd be willing to take care of her friend from work's cats for a few days while she's away. And obviously, I immediately said yes. For the past week, I was living with two cuties in a really nice flat in the city. I got some alone time away from family and enjoyed having a TV to myself and cuddling with a sweet cat (only one of them was cuddly, the other didn't care if I live or die, except for feeding time). It made me realise how much I miss having cats. Also, how quickly I get adjusted to living somewhere.

 

Activity - bracelet making

 

I got back into making bracelets and keychains with embroidery floss. I love fibre crafts of all kinds and it's a fun thing to keep my hands busy while I'm watching something on my laptop or talking to my boyfriend. Here are two keychains I made - the very hungry caterpillar and y4bb0 from Holding Absence's new album.
