Recently, I was thinking about my favourite things. Things I buy, collect, hobbies; things I somehow gravitate towards. And I came to the conclusion that what they all have in common is their colour. In fact, I think what pulls me towards many of my favourite things is, above their shape, texture, or purpose, their colour. All of them, or at least most, make me happy. Obviously I have my favourites. The current ones are orange (all shades, but especially terracotta/brick) and teal. But then, there are some colour combinations I love specifically: red with dark green, dark blue and yellow, teal and orange together.
